Seeking candidates for nearly 700 full and part time positions at STAPLES Center, the management team from Los Angeles' new downtown sports and entertainment arena will be hosting a job fair in the Los Angeles Convention Center's Petree Hall on Tuesday July 27 from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
"The job fair will be a tremendous opportunity for people in the community to learn about the variety of jobs that STAPLES Center has to offer," said Kevin McDowell, vice president of human resources. "We have such a wide range of positions available that I believe anyone seeking a career or a career change will be able to find something of interest."
Job fair guests will have the opportunity to meet representatives from every division of the arena to learn specifics about each of the available positions. Applicants will then have the opportunity to apply for the job or jobs that best suit their training, experience and career goals.
"Our goal is to assemble a professional staff of people who will provide outstanding service to our guests and leadership to our city and industry," according to McDowell. "It is also critical for us to assemble a staff that reflects the diversity of Los Angeles. We anticipate that the events at STAPLES Center will attract audiences of all demographics and we want our employees to fully represent the people with whom they will interact," added McDowell.
