Good Sport is a communications, training and fan management program designed to help stadium operators, team owners and concessionaires promote a positive crowd environment. Good Sport has been used to develop successful fan-responsibility and event-management programs for international sporting events, including the Olympics and the World Cup games.
STAPLES Center has partnered with Levy Restaurants, ACE Beverage Distributing, and Anheuser-Busch, along with our four tenants the Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Sparks in offering the Good Sport program at most major sporting events. The objective of the Good Sport program is to create, implement, and maintain effective alcohol awareness programs and policies for STAPLES Center. Good Sport is a pledge to our guests that we intend to maintain an enjoyable fan experience and atmosphere during all events held at STAPLES Center.
Throughout the NBA and NHL seasons the Good Sport kiosk will be located near the Figueroa entrance of STAPLES Center for most events.
Designated drivers that sign a pledge will receive a coupon for one complimentary food item and one non-alcoholic beverage (non-alcoholic fountain beverage or an O'Douls) redeemable at the Wetzel Pretzel concession stand. Drawings for future game tickets and the grand prize of an event suite for an upcoming event are also held throughout the season.
